God won’t leave you there- that promise anchors Anne Graham Lotz’s next season. The longtime evangelist says her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, now carries a strong gift for evangelism. Lotz recalls Billy Graham calling her “the best preacher in the family,” but she points to Wright as a compelling gospel messenger. Wright serves as vice president of AnGel Ministries in Raleigh, North Carolina, and she leads a weekly online Bible study. The study reaches thousands, and it connects people in more than 125 countries.
A New Platform at The Cove
Wright will take a major step in November at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville. She will serve as the main seminar speaker, a role her mother has often filled. Lotz describes the moment as a “baton” pass, and she says the support feels like a blessing. The partnership remains active, but the leadership emphasis is shifting. Lotz also plans to keep speaking, so long as invitations and strength continue. She says she wants to be more strategic now, and she weighs each request carefully.
God Won’t Leave You There in Joseph’s Story
Their third joint book, God Won’t Leave You There: Joseph’s Story, releases March 31. Wright wrote the chapters, and Lotz refined them and added reflections and prayers. Lotz says she long loved Joseph’s story, but she felt held back because the project belonged with her daughter. They connect Joseph’s betrayal, imprisonment, and rise to power with people whose lives flip quickly. Wright highlights Joseph’s steady focus on God, and she stresses his refusal to become bitter. They dedicated the book to anyone whose life has been turned upside down.
Health Trials, Faith Tools, and Differing Views
Both women tie the message to medical hardship, because they know prolonged uncertainty. Lotz reports she is eight years past breast cancer, and she recently underwent a second heart ablation. She also jokes about “patch, patch, patch,” including a new hip, but she credits God’s faithfulness. Wright describes SCAD heart attacks, ongoing pain, blood clots, and a mini stroke, but she says she is doing well now. Lotz also recalls Billy and Ruth Graham using large printed Scripture sheets when vision declined. Supporters see God Won’t Leave You There as timely and hopeful- a faithful continuation of the Graham preaching legacy.
