Throughout history, humanity has used art to honor God, the original artist. Many of art history's greatest masterpieces are such works. Faith on View has partnered with Educational Opportunity Tours to provide tours focusing on art & faith. Since 1974, Educational Opportunities has been dedicated to providing quality Christian travel programs at an affordable price. In the 17th through 19th centuries the Grand Tour was a trip that young Europeans would take across Europe to experience the broader European Culture. It was seen as a crucial part of a person's education. Faith on View's Grand Tour combines our Italy Tour with our Paris & London tour for an expansive 18 day tour where one gets to interact with Western Europe and Italy's greatest Christian monuments and pieces of art.

Participants begin with Paris then move on to London and finally head to the great cities of Italy including Rome, Venice, and Florence. See the tours below for more detail about this amazing experience.

Tour Leaders:

Scott Culpepper currently serves as Professor of History at Dordt College and Chair of the Humanities.  Dr. Culpepper earned his Ph.D. at Baylor University.  He also received a Master of Arts in History at Northwestern State University, a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in historical and theological studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Religious Education at Louisiana College.  Dr. Culpepper’s teaching and research interests are European history, particularly Early Modern Europe, and the history of Christianity. He was twice honored by the student body of Louisiana College with the Professor of the Year award for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 academic years.

Rondall Reynoso currently serves as Assistant Professor of Art & Art History at Lee University. He studied art and art history at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY where he received his M.F.A. and a Masters in Art History. Rondall is currently working on a Ph.D. in Art History & Aesthetics within the Historical and Cultural Studies of Religion department at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. Rondall was formerly head of the art department at Louisiana College, a denominational school, followed by teaching at state and private universities, including the prestigious California College of the Arts. Reynoso's work focusses on the intersection of studio practice, art history, aesthetics, and religion. In 2008, Rondall was one of seven North American artists selected to take part in the Nagel Institute for the Study of World Christianity’s inaugural seminar to Asia.
